The Educational Living Lab (EduLab) is a space where didactics, training and lifelong learning meet technological solutions to create innovative models and solutions in education. A space, therefore, to experiment with state-of-the-art environments and methods to transform the way we learn and teach.

A Bridge between Education, Culture and Territory

EduLab aims to become a point of reference for creating growth and learning opportunities for all, connecting educational systems with territorial structures dedicated to culture and education. The aim is to create a network connecting schools, students, teaching staff, museums and technology centres.

The spaces of EduLab and the ‘Civic Centre School’ educational hub

EduLab is located within the Educational Pole “Civic Centre School” di via Bardonecchia 34, Torino.

In addition to the spaces for Secondary School, Infancy and Nursery School and the EduLab classrooms, the ‘Scuola Centro Civico’ educational centre also features a Cinema and Multimedia Laboratory and the ITER (Istituzione Torinese per una Educazione Responsabile) Expressionism and Theatre Laboratory, as well as premises open to citizens.

Le aule di Edulab sono quattro, dotate di attrezzatura multimediale e Wi-Fi gratuito ad alta capacità e strumentazioni per la didattica innovativa.

EduLab activities

The activities organised at EduLab are aimed at schools of all levels, included in the Catalogue Growing in the City, in particular in the section dedicated to the CTE Next Torino and Torino City Lab programme, which provides primary and secondary schools with the advanced technological skills of the partners of CTE Next Torino and Torino City Lab.

The aim is to create opportunities for knowledge and training on emerging technologies and to look more consciously to the future.

A Project promoted by the City of Turin

EduLab is an initiative promoted by the City of Turin as part of the European project Learning Technologies Accelerator. It is a node of the Torino City Lab project and the ultra-wideband network Riconnessioni activated by the Compagnia di San Paolo School Foundation. It is developed within the complex Civic Centre School, educational pole open to citizenship born from the collaboration between ITER and the Istituto Comprensivo Maria Luisa Spaziani and realised with the contribution of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and Fondazione CRT.
